Marah Oberfield

Marah is a highly-skilled professional with 25 years of experience developing internal communications, change management and employee engagement solutions for national and global companies. By starting with the goal in mind, she approaches employee communications with the passion and the momentum that creates organizational muscle and measurable outcomes.

Prior to founding Oberfield Communications, Marah served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Syneos Health, a global end-to-end healthcare organization. In this role, she led the Corporate Communications department and was responsible for all internal c-suite, enterprise and employee communications strategies and activities, including market transactions (pre-announce, transition preparedness, Day 1 and post-close), change management initiatives, CSR and ongoing employee engagement efforts tied to culture, vision and values.

Marah also headed U.S. internal and external communications for Daiichi Sankyo, a leading Japanese pharmaceutical company. There, she developed initiatives to improve employee engagement, energize sales, brand and marketing teams, and strengthen corporate reputation through media relations and evolving philanthropy programs. 

Throughout her career, she has architected corporate communications and employee engagement strategies that have streamlined inefficiencies and unified colleagues and leadership teams. Marah specializes in leveraging her multi-disciplinary background to reach specific goals and objectives, especially during times of change and within competitive landscapes.
